On the advice of World Wide Consumer Center, and some consumer groups as the OCU is easy to lose the fear of buying online. For starters we should know that buy online does not have to have less security, as consumers really have recognized the same rights and duties as if we bought in a store. So the keys that should guide us, as when shopping at any other establishment, are prudence, calm, caution and information on purchasing conditions.

1. Take the time. Take the time to buy than you do, prudence always a good buy guide. It is good to buy a product at the first site you see is better to look at others and compare prices and conditions.

7. Learn and read. Carefully read the privacy policy and site security. All companies offering their services on the Internet must explain their privacy policy and what they do with our personal data.

8. Discretion, not give further details. When shopping, be cautious and discreet, provides the least possible amount of personal data. Obviously there is information such as your name and address are required for purchase. But it is common that you request more data (such as consumer habits, phone numbers, data privacy, etc..) This information is often used for commercial purposes. Never answer a question that you think inappropriate for your purchase if you require it as mandatory, find another place to buy the product.

9. Open. The Internet payment has the same risk that shopping by phone or catalog. The safest way is to pay on delivery, working with cash. If no such option, you can pay by card or minipagos systems as Pay Pal. The risk of the card is to expose our number in a network like the Internet, this requires us to verify that the connection is secure. Fortunately more and more banks implement new safety systems (passwords for Internet payments) that prevent anyone with our card to make payments over the network. Either way, it's good to check all these points.

10. Copies. Upon completion of the purchase process, you should see a page summarizing your purchase or send you a confirmation email. Keep copies of these documents for the operations you have done. Will your receipt and proof if you have to claim. You can also print the page showing the information of the company. File this information until the end of the warranty period.
